About Lanii Lanii’s first career was professional dancer – her mother said she danced before she walked. She’s alumnus of the North Carolina School of the Arts, Modern Dance and took her first full- time dancing position at age 17. After having a child, she spent many years in administration and customer service. A fortunate mid-life crisis sent her back to school to learn Soma Neuromuscular Integration and she is now a certified structural integrator and Somassage practitioner. She is nationally licensed & certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is a member of the International Association of Structural Integrators. Lanii also participates as a teacher at the Soma Institute, assisting the students to manifest their own potential as new Soma practitioners. (Information about the Institute is available by clicking the link above.) Both her Soma practice and teaching seeks to instill a sense of ease, vitality and freedom so clients and students can tap their limitless intuition and energy for positive change and creative response. She lives and works in the forest of Woodinville, WA. Contact her at 206-227-8010 or “Never for an instant forget the effort to renew your life, to build yourself anew. Creativity means to push open the groaning doorway of life itself. This is not an easy task. Indeed, it may be the most severely challenging struggle there is. For opening the door to your life is in the end, more difficult than opening the door to all the mysteries of the universe.” Daisaku Ikeda |
